Winter Building Projects

Postby Dan Deitemeyer » Fri Nov 20, 2009 4:43 am

Winter is on its way and flying season is winding down. It's time to start thinking about building something. Post your building projects here and keep everyone informed of your progress. In addition to fixing several crashes that I had over the summer  , I plan to build a Great Planes Tracer that's been in the box for a couple of years now :) . Great Planes has now discontinued the kit but the reviews are positive and I should have a good flier when it's completed. :D

Drop a reply and let us know what you're building project is.

Are you going to post pictures as you build?

Pictures would be great. I haven't started yet and the wife says I have to clean up the workshop before I take any pictures. Pictures of Rudy's workshop in the newsletter set an example that I need now follow. :?

And...if I understand the instructions correctly, pictures need to be posted on a public website and then linked to this forum. I'll test it out - I have a great picture of the 787 first flight taken from the taxiway at Paine Field on 12/15.

This is a test....this is a test. Here's a link to the 787 First Flight picture. This photo was taken from the taxiway at Paine Field in Everett WA. http://picasaweb.google.com/nutz4flying ... directlink
